In clinics with fitness centres, employees can use the facilities during specially reserved times The Genolier Swiss Medical Network pension fund was founded in 1973 and is an independent and legally autonomous entity. It takes care of pension fund payments for our staff. Its benefits exceed the legal minimum prescribed by the Federal Act on occupational old-age, survivors and invalidity insurance (BVG).
We offer vocational apprenticeships
Starting in 2015, Swiss Medical Network plans to offer 150 apprenticeship places within the space of three years. With its excellent hospital and hotel facilities, it opens up many vocational opportunities in a pleasant and inspiring environment. The 150 apprenticeships are divided between the 16 clinics in Switzerland's three major language regions. Apprenticeships are offered in the following fields:
- Commercial (FCP)
- Healthcare (FCP)
- Cookery FCP, Restaurant management (FCP)
- Logistics (FCP) and IT (FCP)
Our apprentices are supervised by experienced professionals and supported by management who encourage professional training and provide young people with the necessary motivation. Our trainees contribute to the growth and efficient functioning of the company and our patients' well-being.
We offer internships
Swiss Medical Network is keenly aware of the importance of specialized professional training and works closely with important centres of education. These include the hotel management school in Lausanne and the international Les Roches Hotel Management School in Valais. Swiss Medical Network is a partner of the Les Roches school for specialization in Spa and Health Management, one of the optional subjects for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Hotel Management.
