THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL OF THE NEUROCENTRE GSMN
The Scientific Council is made up of 2 medical personalities:
- Professor Thierry Moulin, Neurologist, PU-PH at the University of Franche-Comté, has been head of service for neurology at the CHU of Besançon since 1998. He is head of the research department in neurological imaging in the same institute. He has been a Professor of neurology for many years and has been elected vice-president of the scientific council of the UFC since 2006. He is also a member of the Federal Institute of Engineering Research (INSERM IFR 133 IBCT) and co-director of the Masters in neurosciences "Emotion and behaviour". In the clinic and in research, his centres of interest are neurological emergencies, strokes, telemedicine, neurological imaging and functional MRI. He is the author of a number of scientific publications, he is regularly sought after to provide his expert reviews on these topics, playing a role in the editorial committee for international neurology journals.

Professor Max Wintermark, Specialist in neuroradiology and Consultation in brain, neck and spine CT and IRM, perfusion imaging, cerebrovascular accidents, cardio and cerebrovascular diseases. Max Wintermark is Associate Professor in radiology, neurology, neurosurgery and biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia and Head of Neuroradiology at the University Hospital of the University of Virginia since 2009. He is also Assistent Editor of the American Journal of Roetgenology; Member of the Editorial Commitee of the American Journal of Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery; Member of the Stroke Imaging Repository (STIR) Committee (since 2008); Member of the Research Commitee of the American Neurology Society (since 2009); President of the Review Commitee ACR–ASNR–SPR for the practical guide of perfusion CT in neuroradiology (2011) and Member of RSNA Public Information Advisors Network (2009).
